Promotional School Event Videography
Childwall Sports & Science Academy
Taking place over four days, “World In One School Week” ” is a week-long event held at Childwall Sports & Science Academy, Liverpool. By collaborating with external educators, community groups, and industry professionals, the event provided an opportunity for students to engage with a wide range of subjects and skills that extend beyond the traditional classroom setting.
As an annual event the school holds, not just within the school grounds but throughout the city, our videography team were brought in to capture, edit and highlight the wonderful experiences the pupils and teachers got to experience.
Our goal was to create a promotional school video that not only highlights the educational opportunities provided during the event but also showcases the enthusiasm and engagement of the students and staff.
Over the course of four days, our team documented various activities, interviewing students and teachers to capture their thoughts and feelings about the experiences they were having. The resulting promotional video will serve as an inspiring reminder of the power of education to broaden horizons and ignite passions.
Our Promotional School Video Shoot Process:
Initial Meeting:
Before any shooting begins, our production team will meet with you at your school, college or university to understand your ethos and immerse ourselves in the environment you’ve created. We understand every school is unique and want to capture what makes you, you with your promotional school video.
Storyboarding:
Following our initial meeting, we will then create a storyboard for the video. This will give you an indication of how the video will flow and come together ensuring that we have included all of the essential components before we start filming.
The pre-agreed direction will make the filming process much more streamlined and efficient, allowing for minimal interruption to your school’s schedule.
Filming:
Normally carried out over a full day, our promotional school video team will travel to your location, which could be anywhere across Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire.
Following a guided plan for the school day, our production team will capture the day to best represent your school and showcase all available classrooms, faculty and pupils utilising a range of different techniques and vantage points which will ensure a high-quality engaging video.
Editing:
Using the latest editing software our team will assemble your school video ensuring that it looks sleek and professional, once edited we will then send you a proof for your feedback.
Once we have made any requested amends we will send you the finished video to be published to your social media and website or showcased at school events.
Sports Day Videography
As part of “World In One School Week” Childwall hosted their annual sports day for the whole school to compete in a series of events ranging from sprints, high jump and javelin. Taking part outside of the school grounds, our school videographers were in on the action, capturing the dynamic day as pupils competed to win the gold.
Stepping foot outside of the classroom, we adjusted our camera set-up to the new environment and got our running shoes on, knowing we wouldn’t just be filming the day but taking part. Running alongside races and dodging javelins, we aimed to create a sports day video that made the viewers feel as though they were taking part.
Primary School Videography
‘Aim high…because everything is possible!’ – the school motto of Woore Primary & Nursery School was our inspiration when our videographers were planning a shoot at the local Cheshire school. With a focus on the younger pupils beginning their educational journey, we focused on exploring the world with them as they learned through a combination of traditional lessons and play.
Including vox pops of teachers, pupils and parents recorded throughout the school, the story of daily life learning with the Woore has been told. Capturing a full day, shots were specifically chosen to focus on the key elements of the school with all lessons and activities included in the final edit.
